Avalon Tower has been part of the Hutt Valley skyline for generations.
Opened in 1975, the expansive television complex became one of Australasia’s largest studios and played an important role in the story of New Zealand broadcasting.
From It’s in the Bag and Top Town, to Telethons, Good Morning, Fair Go and countless other productions, some of New Zealand’s most memorable television moments began right here in Avalon.
